The challenge was building an identity that felt warm and personal without reading as homemade. Specialty coffee is a category defined by craft, and the brand needed to honor that - while remaining distinct, scalable, and shelf-ready. Every decision had to balance the intimate quality of the product with the clarity a new-to-market brand requires.
The Celina Coffee brand had to feel approachable without being generic, and premium without being cold. The visual identity was built around warmth as a structural principle - expressed through color, texture, and form - rather than applied as a surface layer. The result is a brand that communicates quality and craft before a single word is read.
Rather than designing for the launch moment alone, the system was built with range in mind. The identity needed to work across packaging formats, digital, and physical touchpoints - giving Celina Coffee the foundation to grow without a rebrand. Flexibility was designed in, not retrofitted later.
For a new-to-market brand in specialty coffee, packaging is the pitch. The design work focused on creating a shelf presence that could hold its own against established brands while still feeling personal and intentional.
